Advertising Policy

Impaxon is committed to maintaining a clear separation between editorial content and commercial activities. Advertising, sponsorship, and promotional material must never influence editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or the integrity of the scholarly record.

1. Policy Statement

Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising, sponsorship, commercial relationships, or financial considerations. The acceptance, rejection, revision, or publication of manuscripts is determined solely on scholarly merit and compliance with the journal's editorial policies.

2. Editorial Independence

Advertisers, sponsors, commercial organisations, funding partners, and other third parties have no influence over editorial decisions, peer review, article selection, publication timing, or journal governance.

Editors retain full responsibility for all editorial decisions in accordance with the Editorial Independence Policy.

3. Separation of Editorial and Commercial Content

Advertising and promotional material must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertisements must not resemble research articles, editorials, peer-reviewed content, or official journal communications.

Commercial content will be presented separately from scholarly content wherever advertising is displayed.

4. Advertising Standards

Advertising should be accurate, lawful, professional, and appropriate for an academic publishing environment. Impaxon reserves the right to reject, remove, or decline advertising that is misleading, deceptive, offensive, discriminatory, unlawful, or inconsistent with the publisher's values or applicable regulations.

5. Prohibited Advertising

Impaxon does not knowingly accept advertising that promotes fraudulent activities, academic misconduct, paper mills, plagiarism services, ghostwriting services, fake conferences, predatory publishing, counterfeit products, illegal activities, or material that could undermine research integrity.

6. Sponsorship

Sponsorship of journals, conferences, special issues, educational activities, or other publishing initiatives does not provide sponsors with editorial influence or preferential treatment.

Sponsored activities will be disclosed appropriately where applicable.

7. Article Processing Charges

Payment of Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication fees, sponsorship, institutional agreements, or fee waivers does not influence editorial decisions. Editorial assessment and peer review are conducted independently of financial considerations.

8. Links to Third-Party Websites

Advertisements or sponsored material may contain links to external websites. Impaxon is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, products, services, or policies of third-party websites.

9. Complaints Regarding Advertising

Concerns regarding advertising or commercial activities may be submitted through the publisher's official contact channels. Complaints will be assessed fairly and appropriate action will be taken where necessary.

10. Future Advertising

At present, Impaxon maintains a limited commercial environment. Should advertising opportunities expand in the future, they will continue to operate under the principles of transparency, editorial independence, and responsible scholarly publishing described in this policy.

11. Changes to this Policy

Impaxon may revise this policy periodically to reflect developments in scholarly publishing, advertising standards, legal requirements, and publisher practices.
