Open Access Policy

Impaxon is committed to the principles of open access publishing. We believe that scholarly research should be freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide without financial, legal, or technical barriers, thereby promoting the broad dissemination of knowledge and supporting global research collaboration.

1. Policy Statement

All research articles published by Impaxon are made freely available online immediately upon publication. Readers may access published content without subscription fees, registration requirements, or paywalls.

Impaxon supports unrestricted access to scholarly literature in order to increase the visibility, accessibility, reproducibility, and impact of published research.

2. Immediate Open Access

Articles become openly accessible immediately after publication. Impaxon does not impose embargo periods or delayed access restrictions on published articles.

Published articles remain permanently accessible through the journal website and other approved preservation and indexing services where applicable.

3. Free Access for Readers

Readers may freely read, download, search, browse, and link to published articles without requesting permission from the publisher, provided that the terms of the applicable publication licence are respected.

4. Author Rights

Impaxon recognises the importance of protecting author rights while maximising the dissemination of scholarly work. Authors retain the rights specified in the journal's Copyright & Licensing Policy.

Authors are encouraged to promote, share, and disseminate their published research in accordance with the applicable licence and repository policies.

5. Licensing

The licence under which articles are published is clearly displayed on each published article. The applicable licence determines how published content may be reused, distributed, adapted, or reproduced.

Further information is available in the Copyright & Licensing Policy.

6. Reuse of Published Content

Reuse of published material must comply with the licence assigned to the article. Users are responsible for providing appropriate attribution, maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record, and complying with all applicable licence conditions.

7. Long-Term Accessibility

Impaxon is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility and discoverability of published content through persistent identifiers, recognised indexing services, and appropriate digital preservation practices where available.

8. Article Processing Charges

Information regarding article processing charges (APCs), waivers, discounts, and payment arrangements is provided separately on each journal's website. Editorial decisions are made independently of an author's ability to pay publication charges.

9. Compliance with Funder Requirements

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their publication complies with the requirements of their funding organisations, institutions, or research sponsors. Impaxon aims to support compliance with recognised open access requirements where possible.

10. Changes to this Policy

Impaxon may periodically update this policy to reflect developments in open access publishing, international standards, licensing practices, and publisher policies.
