Paper Submission

ICCI 2027 invites original, unpublished research on intelligent and data-driven computing methods, systems, and applications. Submissions must align with one of the four technical tracks and demonstrate a clear computational contribution.

The ICCI 2027 online paper submission portal will be announced soon. Authors are encouraged to prepare their manuscripts according to the requirements provided on this page.

General Submission Requirements

  • Submissions must present original research that has not been published previously and is not under review by another conference, journal, or publication venue.
  • Papers must align with one of the four ICCI 2027 technical tracks: Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning; Data Science and Knowledge Discovery; Intelligent Software and Computing Systems; or Trustworthy and Secure Intelligent Computing.
  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, ethical compliance, and proper citation of all submitted content.
  • All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution to the work and must approve the submitted manuscript.
  • Submissions that do not comply with the conference requirements may be returned to the authors before peer review.

Paper Categories

Full Research Papers

Full papers should report substantial, original, and completed technical research supported by appropriate methodology, evaluation, comparisons with relevant work, and critical discussion.

Initial submission limit: 12-15 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

Short Research Papers

Short papers may present focused technical contributions, preliminary findings, or proof-of-concept studies supported by appropriate evaluation. Proposals without substantive results are not sufficient.

Initial submission limit: 6-11 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

Industry and Application Papers

Industry and application papers should report technically substantive intelligent or data-driven computing methods or systems evaluated in realistic settings. Submissions must establish a clear computational contribution, provide rigorous evaluation, and demonstrate findings or methodological insights that are relevant beyond the immediate application context.

Initial submission limit: 12-15 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

Review and Perspective Papers

Review and perspective papers should provide a critical synthesis of a focused research topic within one of the four conference tracks. Submissions must demonstrate analytical depth, systematic comparison of existing approaches, identification of research gaps, and meaningful insights for future research. Purely descriptive literature surveys are not sufficient.

Initial submission limit:12-15 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

Final formatting, length limits, and publication requirements may be adjusted to meet the confirmed proceedings publisher's guidelines. Authors of accepted papers will be informed of any required changes during camera-ready preparation.

Manuscript Preparation

File Format

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in PDF format.
  • The PDF must be readable and must not be password protected.
  • All fonts should be embedded in the submitted file.
  • Figures and tables must be clear and legible.

Language

  • The official language of ICCI 2027 is English.
  • Submissions must use clear academic and technical language.
  • Authors should check grammar, spelling, and readability before submission.
  • Papers with language problems that prevent scientific assessment may be returned.

The official manuscript template and detailed formatting instructions will be made available once the proceedings publication arrangements are confirmed. Authors may initially prepare their manuscripts according to the structure and page limits specified on this page. Accepted papers must comply with the final publisher-specific formatting requirements before publication.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting a paper, authors should confirm that:

  • The work is original and unpublished.
  • The paper is not under review elsewhere.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • The manuscript matches the selected track.
  • The title and abstract accurately describe the work.
  • All sources are properly cited.
  • Figures and tables are clear and correctly numbered.
  • Required ethical approvals are reported where applicable.
  • Funding and conflicts of interest are disclosed.
  • The final PDF has been checked carefully.

Peer-Review Process

Eligible submissions will undergo peer review coordinated by the Program Chairs, Track Chairs, and Technical Program Committee. Each eligible full-paper submission will undergo double-blind peer review by at least three independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the selected technical track. Additional reviewers may be assigned where necessary.

The review process will consider:

  • Relevance to the conference scope and selected track
  • Originality and significance of the contribution
  • Scientific and technical quality
  • Appropriateness of the research methodology
  • Validity of the experiments, analysis, and conclusions
  • Clarity, organization, and reproducibility
  • Practical, theoretical, or societal impact

The Program Chairs will make acceptance decisions based on reviewer assessments, track relevance, technical merit, and the conference's scientific standards. Decisions may include acceptance, acceptance subject to revision, or rejection. Authors will be informed of the decision and any required revisions.

Publication Ethics

Submitted papers must be original. Simultaneous submission of the same or substantially similar work to another publication venue is prohibited. Previously published material must be properly cited and must not constitute the main contribution of the submission.

Submissions may be screened using similarity-detection software. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, inappropriate reuse of published material, fabricated citations, or concealed duplication may result in rejection or withdrawal of the paper.

Authorship must be limited to individuals who made meaningful contributions to the study. All authors must approve the submission and accept responsibility for the integrity of the work. Guest, honorary, or purchased authorship is not permitted.

Authors must not fabricate, falsify, manipulate, or selectively report data, images, experiments, or results. Sufficient information should be provided to allow the research to be understood and, where reasonably possible, reproduced.

Research involving human participants, personal data, animals, or sensitive information must comply with applicable ethical standards. Authors must provide the name of the approving ethics committee, approval information, and informed-consent details where required.

Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, references, analysis, and conclusions of their manuscripts. Substantial use of generative artificial intelligence in preparing manuscript content should be disclosed appropriately.

Camera-Ready Submission

Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit a final camera-ready version that addresses the reviewers’ comments and complies with the final formatting requirements communicated to authors.

The camera-ready submission package may include:

  • The final revised manuscript
  • A detailed response to reviewers, where requested
  • Source files in the required publication format
  • Completed copyright or publication forms
  • Author information and affiliations
  • Proof of author registration

Detailed camera-ready instructions will be sent to corresponding authors after acceptance.

Presentation and Publication Requirements

  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register by the author-registration deadline.
  • Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference by an author or an approved representative.
  • Failure to meet registration or presentation requirements may result in withdrawal of acceptance or exclusion from any subsequent proceedings.
  • Acceptance for presentation does not guarantee proceedings publication. Any proceedings publication is subject to confirmed publication arrangements, the publisher's requirements, and completion of the conference's final manuscript, ethics, registration, and presentation obligations.
