Aim and Scope
Impact in Agriculture (ISSN 3122-735X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing original research and authoritative review articles that advance the science, technology, and practice of agriculture. The journal adopts a multidisciplinary perspective covering agricultural sciences, engineering, environmental studies, and the social and economic dimensions of agriculture. It aims to address global challenges related to food security, sustainability, productivity, and climate resilience.
We welcome high-quality contributions that explore innovation in precision agriculture, smart farming, biotechnology, sustainable crop and livestock systems, food systems, supply chain management, and rural development. The journal also encourages research on food quality, food safety, nutrition systems, and farm-to-fork integration. Particular attention is given to the application of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, robotics, drones, big data analytics, and remote sensing, in modern agricultural systems.
Research addressing water resource management, irrigation efficiency, climate adaptation, and environmental sustainability is strongly encouraged. Studies on controlled environment agriculture, including greenhouse systems, hydroponics, and vertical farming, are also within the scope. The journal supports research on sustainable practices such as regenerative agriculture, circular systems, and carbon-aware farming approaches.
Contributions aligned with global priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals such as Zero Hunger, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Climate Action, are particularly welcome.
