Author Guidelines

Thank you for considering Impact in Agriculture for your submission. Please read these instructions carefully. Manuscripts not following the official template will be returned without review.

1. Mandatory Template

All manuscripts must be prepared using the official Microsoft Word template. A LaTeX version will be provided in future updates.

2. Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: Clear, grammatical English.
  • Format: As defined in the template (Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing).
  • Length: Maximum 7,000 words (excluding references).
  • Abstract: 150–250 words with 4–6 keywords.
  • File Format: `.docx` only (PDFs are not accepted for initial submission).

3. Manuscript Structure

The official template includes the required sections in this order:

  1. Title Page
  2. Abstract & Keywords
  3. Introduction
  4. Materials and Methods
  5. Results
  6. Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. Acknowledgements
  9. Data Availability Statement
  10. Conflicts of Interest
  11. Funding Statement
  12. References

Impact in Agriculture follows the IEEE citation style, which is widely used in computing and engineering.

  • References must be numbered in order of appearance.
  • Use IEEE citation formatting exactly as shown in the template.
  • Ensure all DOIs are included where available.

5. Figures and Tables

  • Figures must be high-resolution (≥300 dpi), in PNG/JPEG format.
  • Tables must be editable text (not images or screenshots).
  • Each figure/table must be numbered and referenced in the text.
  • Captions should be clear, descriptive, and follow template formatting.

6. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions undergo similarity checking. A similarity index over 15% (excluding references) may result in rejection. Self-plagiarism is also prohibited.

7. Authorship Criteria

All listed authors must meet the following criteria:

  • Significant contribution to conceptualization, methodology, or analysis.
  • Involvement in drafting or revising the manuscript.
  • Approval of the final version.
  • Accountability for content integrity.

8. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s Online Submission System.

After submission, authors will receive a confirmation email and tracking ID.
